X Russian Folklore Festival "Village - the Soul of Russia" will be held in Ust-Kubinsky District on July 11-13. Every year the festival takes place in one of the districts of the Vologda Region. The municipality obtains this right on a competitive basis.
The interregional folklore festival “The Village - the Soul of Russia” has been held in the Vologda Region since 2014. It unites the best amateur groups, craftsmen, researchers in the field of traditional folk culture.
The creative project is aimed at preserving cultural identity, creating conditions for the development of traditional folk culture and promoting the cultural and historical heritage of the Vologda Region and various regions of Russia.
The festival program will include concerts by folklore groups, the work of ethnocultural interactive platforms, folk games, folklore theatre performances, and a fair of handicrafts.
