Russia’s unique horse traditions will be on display during the festival. Russian troikas will demonstrate to the audience the grace and beauty of the multi-allure harness.
In addition to the riding competitions, the festival will include a rich cultural programme, performances, concerts, master classes, demonstration of Russian martial arts and a fair of Vologda staple products.
The festival will take place as part of the Winter of the Russian North project initiated by Vologda Region Governor Georgy Filimonov. It is not just a celebration of horse breeding and traditions - it is an important element of promoting the cultural and tourist potential of the Vologda Region.
