On November 9th the Russian main winter wizard set off on his fifth trip across the country on his fabulous train.
The Ded Moroz Train is a winter wonderland where children and their parents gather to make memories they’ll treasure year after year. The railcars are decorated beautifully to celebrate the season.
The Ded Moroz Train consists of several wagons. Some of them are occupied by technical staff and an animation team. It also includes a residence car of Ded Moroz with a bedroom, dining cars and a gift shop where one can buy souvenirs or send a letter to Russia's chief magician.
This year the festively decorated train will depart from Vladivostok on November 19 and will visit 70 Russian cities in almost two months. The trip will end on January 11, 2026 in Veliky Ustyug, the birthplace of Russian Ded Moroz. The train will travel to the Far East and Siberia, the Urals, the Russian North, and the European part of the country.
The Vologda Region Government and the Russian Railways launched this unique project - Ded Moroz Train.
Holiday spirit abounds aboard the train, where one can enjoy favourite New Year and Christmas tunes and cheerful decor. The Ded Moroz Train is a relaxed affair for guests of all ages.
