Vologda’s museums will take part in the annual international campaign Night of Museums.
Night of Museums is an event which annually is celebrated in Europe and America and dedicated to International Museum Day. As a rule, action "Night of Museum" is celebrated on the first weekend after this day. The Night of Museums is aimed at showing the resources and the opportunities as well as the potential of modern museums and attracting young people to museums.
This year's event is dedicated to the Year of the Family in Russia and is called "The Museum. History. Family".
On this night museums open their doors to visitors. There will be offered a memorable program that will include tours of new exhibitions, theatrical performances, concerts and master classes.
