The traditional historical reenactment festival "Kirillo- Belozersky Siege" will take place on June 24-25.
The festival has been staged in the Kirillo-Belozersky museum for several years. Clubs from different Russian cities will take part in it. They will represent Moscow, St. Petersburg Tula, Omsk, Podolsk, Kaluga, Vologda, Ivanovo, Saransk, Ivanovo, Belgorod, Bryansk, Nizhny Novgorod, Petrozavodsk, Cherepovets and Minsk (Belarus). This festival is one of the most spectacular summer events in Kirillov.
Local residents, guests and tourists will have a wonderful opportunity to plunge into the interesting historical epoch - the 17th century and see reenactment of the monastery defence against the Polish-Lithuanian invaders with our own eyes.
The program of the festival will also include medieval amusements and games, a handicraft fair, archery and equestrian tournaments, master classes and tasting local food.
Applications for participation in the historical reenactment festival "Kirillo- Belozersky Siege" will be accepted until May 31.
