VII International competition for performers on wind and percussion "Northern Rhapsody" will kick off in Cherepovets City on April 23.
The competition aims to identify the most talented and artistic young musicians and to open opportunities for further professional career. In addition, it will contribute to the strengthening and expansion of international contacts.
The competition for performers on wind and percussion "Northern Rhapsody" will gather young musicians under 35 years of age. They will demonstrate their skills playing the flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, saxophone, French horn, trumpet, tenor trombone, tuba and percussion instruments.
Competitive performances will be evaluated by international competent jury consisted of well-known Russian and foreign specialists.
Famous musicians, outstanding guests and members of the jury will give master classes to the participants of the competition.
The musical contest will allow Russian and foreign participants not only to demonstrate their talent and skill, but also to exchange professional experience, to listen to the advice of prominent artists during master classes and round table discussions.
The contest dates back to 2016. Today it is one of the most significant events in Russia and abroad.
