Ded Moroz , Russia's equivalent of Santa Claus continues his journey on a fabulous train through the cities of Russia. Ded Moroz set off on his traditional New Year trip on October 22, 2022.
The Ded Moroz Train is a winter wonderland where children and their parents gather to make memories they’ll treasure year after year. The railcars are decorated beautifully to celebrate the season. The main holiday-season miracle-maker plans to visit Russian cities and give long-awaited presents to children before New Year.
The Ded Moroz Express Train consists of 19 decorated wagons. Some of them are occupied by technical staff and an animation team. It also includes a residence car of Ded Moroz with a bedroom, a dining car and a gift shop where one can buy souvenirs or send a letter to Russia's chief magician. Holiday spirit abounds aboard the train, where one can enjoy favourite New Year tunes and cheerful decor.
This year, the Ded Moroz Train is to travel from Veliky Ustyug to Vladivostok. The train will stop at over a hundred Russian cities and towns. Ded Moroz will also visit Minsk, Republic of Belarus.
It is planned that a journey of Ded Moroz Train will become a New Year's tradition. According to the organizers, next year the geography of the train will be expanded.
