On the eve of Russia Day, the exhibition of photos opens on June 10 in the capital of Finland, Helsinki. The exhibition will feature some of the most famous historical sights of the Vologda Region and architectural monuments, as well as picturesque views of its northern nature.
The Russian Centre for Science and Culture, the so called Russian House will attract visitors to the exhibition of Russian photographers. The authors managed to convey the spirit and atmosphere of the Russian North, the stunning architecture of the monuments of the XVI–XVIII centuries. Elegant wooden and stone churches, powerful fortress walls and towers of the Kirillo-Belozersky and Ferapontov monasteries, churches in Paltoga, Samino, Tsypino look organically against the background of the majestic and harsh northern nature.
