The Village - the Soul of Russia, Russian Folklore Festival will be held in Kadui District (Vologda Region) on August 19-21.
The folklore festival “The Village - the Soul of Russia” has been held in the Vologda Region since 2014. It unites the best amateur groups, craftsmen, researchers in the field of traditional folk culture. The creative project is aimed at preserving cultural identity, creating conditions for the development of traditional folk culture and promoting the cultural and historical heritage of the Vologda Region and various regions of Russia.
Last year the Folklore Festival "The Village - the Soul of Russia" was postponed taking into account the epidemiological situation.
Due to the epidemiological situation, serious precautions will be taken: use of face masks and social distancing will be a must. The festival will meet the requirements of the Federal Service for the Oversight of Consumer Protection and Welfare (Rospotrebnadzor).
