The Victory Train, an immersive museum of the Great Patriotic War consisting of eight railcars, has arrived in Vologda. This unique historical museum keeps the memory of those who defended our country during the Great Patriotic War.

Over 500 residents of Vologda have already visited the exposition, Vologda Region Governor Oleg Kuvshinnikov among them.

In the eight cars of the train, visitors can see the peaceful life just before the start of the war, the life in the besieged Leningrad, and important events of the Great Patriotic War. Each car contains an exhibition dedicated to a certain period or topic.

Such projects as the Victory Train help people feel the atmosphere of those far-off years and see the war the way its contemporaries saw it.

The museum train celebrating the 75th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War will be traveling throughout Russia. It will stay in Vologda till February 9th.
