The International competition for performers on wind and percussion instruments "Northern Rhapsody" opened in Cherepovets on November 25.
This year the music competition is held online via video recordings. It has gathered about 2000 musicians from Russia and 14 foreign countries.
The musical contest allows participants to demonstrate their talent and skill, and also to exchange professional experience. The competition for performers on wind and percussion "Northern Rhapsody" gathers musicians up to 35 years old that demonstrate their skills playing the flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, saxophone, French horn, trumpet, tenor trombone, tuba and percussion instruments. Ensembles and orchestras are also welcome.
Competitive performances are evaluated by international competent jury consisted of well-known Russian and foreign specialists.
Famous musicians, outstanding guests and members of the jury give master classes to the participants of the competition.
The competition aims to identify the most talented and artistic young musicians and to open opportunities for further professional career.
