Applications for participation in an international competition can be sent by November 24. The music competition will be held online via video recordings.
The competition aims to identify the most talented and artistic young musicians and to open opportunities for further professional career. In addition, it will contribute to the strengthening and expansion of international contacts.
The founder of the competition is the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Vologda Region. The competition is held with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Vologda Region Government.
The musical contest will allow participants to demonstrate their talent and skill, and also to exchange professional experience. The competition for performers on wind and percussion "Northern Rhapsody" will gather musicians up to 35 years old that will demonstrate their skills playing the flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, saxophone, French horn, trumpet, tenor trombone, tuba and percussion instruments. Ensembles and orchestras are also welcome.
