Governor of the Vologda Region Oleg Kuvshinnikov, Deputy General Director of Russian Railways Dmitry Pegov and Ded Moroz launched a unique project - Ded Moroz Train.
The Ded Moroz Train is a winter wonderland where children and their parents gather to make memories they’ll treasure year after year. The railcars are decorated beautifully to celebrate the season. The Ded Moroz Train is a relaxed affair for guests of all ages.
This year, the Ded Moroz Train is to set off for a New Year journey on December 5 and travel to the Black Sea coast. The train will stop at Vologda, Yaroslavl, Kostroma, Ivanovo, Nizhny Novgorod, Kirov, Perm, Yekaterinburg, Izhevsk, Kazan, Samara, Saratov, Astrakhan, Makhachkala, Gudermes, Nazran, Vladikavkaz, Nalchik, Mineralnye Vody, Stavropol, Sochi, Rostov-on-Don, Voronezh, Tula, Moscow, Pskov, Veliky Novgorod, St. Petersburg, Petrozavodsk, Arkhangelsk and other cities.
Holiday spirit abounds aboard the train, where one can enjoy favourite New Year and Christmas tunes and cheerful decor. The Ded Moroz Express Train is a train, where parents and kids alike are able to hop on board for the opportunity to visit with Ded Moroz. Each child will also get a special gift from Ded Moroz’s own toy bag.
The Ded Moroz Express Train consists of 9 decorated wagons. Three of them will be occupied by technical staff and an animation team. It also includes a residence car of Ded Moroz with a bedroom, two dining cars and a gift shop where one can buy souvenirs or send a letter to Russia's chief magician.
Ded Moroz will travel more than 13,000 kilometers and he will stop in 36 Russian cities. Everyone can hop on the magical express and feel the spirit of the holiday on the Ded Moroz Express Train.
