Authorities of Vologda Region introduce QR-code system and new restrictions- only holders of QR-codes will be able to enter public catering establishments and cultural events.
Starting Monday November 1, all restaurants, cinemas and sports centres will require patrons to show a QR code proving full vaccination, or proof of recovery from the coronavirus.
Only visitors who have been vaccinated against coronavirus or have recovered from COVID-19 in the past six months will be allowed into cafes, restaurants, theatres, cinemas and sports centres. The corresponding decision was taken by Governor of the region Oleg Kuvshinnikov.
Since November 1:
- People who have received a Covid-19 vaccine and people who have recovered from a tested case of the coronavirus in the past six months are allowed for preventive health screening at policlinics and hospitals (except for vaccination, and such healthcare sectors as gynecology, oncology and psychiatry).
- Only those who have been vaccinated or have had an illness will be allowed to visit sports, entertainment, cultural and other events;
- Restaurants and cafes will be open only to those who have been vaccinated or have recovered from COVID-19 in the past six months;
- People with QR codes will be allowed to visit sport and entertainment events without restrictions.
The Vologda Region Government takes all possible measures aimed to contain the spread of coronavirus infection and to reduce social contacts frequency. The hospitals are ready to repurpose additional beds to accommodate those infected with a coronavirus infection and provide them with the necessary treatment.
All these requirements do not apply to residents of the region under the age of 18.
