The exhibition of fans features works from France, England, Germany and Holland. The collection of 19th and 20th-century European fans is extensive. This exhibition displays totally unique pieces that were created by well-known artists and painters in the famous European workshops.
The exhibition from the collection of the Moscow State Museum-Preserve will open on August 2 and last till September 27 at the Vologda Lace Museum.
The Moscow Museum will also present graphic works, ladies ' dresses and exhibits of decorative and applied art. In total, about 190 antique items were brought to the Vologda Museum-Preserve.
