Taking into account the adverse epidemiological situation, the international competition for performers on wind and percussion "Northern Rhapsody" transferred to a remote and online format.
The competition for performers on wind and percussion "Northern Rhapsody" has gathered young musicians under 35 years of age. They will demonstrate their skills playing the flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, saxophone, French horn, trumpet, tenor trombone, tuba and percussion instruments.
This year the International competition for performers on wind and percussion "Northern Rhapsody" will gather 2800 participants, including 358 soloists, 33 ensembles and 33 orchestras from Russia and such foreign countries as China, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Finland, Poland, New Zealand, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Moldova and Armenia.
The competition aims to identify the most talented and artistic young musicians and to open opportunities for further professional career. In addition, it will contribute to the strengthening and expansion of international contacts.
