In the course of 2019 Russian Theatre Union will organise eight Theatre Forums, one in every region of the Russian Federation, with a common title "Russian Theatre in the XXI Century. New Perspective". One of the forums will be held in Vologda from June 30 throughout July 4.
Russian President Vladimir Putin officially designated 2019 as the Year of Theatre in Russia.
Every Forum will gather over 400 theatre practitioners with the aim to work out common grounds, foster artistic creation, inspire and support young theatre artists, offer training opportunities, facilitate artistic collaboration and networking.
