The Russian Seasons festival designed to introduce foreigners to Russian culture was held on March 6-7, 2019. The project was initiated by the Russian Ministry of Culture and the Russian Government.

A presentation of the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum was arranged within the framework of the Days of Russian Spiritual Culture. The event is included in the program of Russian Seasons Festival.

The main objective of the Days of Russian Spiritual Culture is to develop ties between the museums of both countries, expanding the dialogue between Russia and Germany in field of preservation of spiritual and cultural heritage.

Alla Manilova, Deputy Minister of Culture led the Russian delegation. Heads of Kizhi Museum, representatives of Russian pilgrimage centres, heads of Novgorod, Kirillo-Belozersky and Vladimir-Suzdal museums arrived in Berlin.

The participants of the Days of Russian Spiritual Culture discussed the best projects of Russian cultural institutions, issues of preservation and promotion of cultural and spiritual heritage, strengthening of ties between museums.

During the forum, the experts of the Kirillo-Belozersky Musum visited a round table and discussed the preservation of traditions of Russian and German sacred music and many other issues, including the influence of famous composers of the two states on each other's work. Participants also exchanged experiences on the preservation and development of the traditions of sacred music. The head of the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum attended two exhibitions -Tree of Life and The Soul of Russia.

The Days of Spiritual Culture of Russia in Germany will continue with exhibition projects that demonstrate folk and art crafts of Russia, traditional Russian costume, masterpieces of iconography, as well as photos of the most picturesque corners of Russia, including the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Preserve.
