The Internet project is organized to support the national development, the revival of interest in the history of Russian cities, the formation of respect for cultural, historical and architectural heritage of Russia.
The project “Russian City. National Choice” will conclude on December 30 at web-site of “Russian City. National Choice” project where one can find information about the history and culture of the cities participating in the vote, photos and descriptions of the most famous sights. By now Vologda has received over 30,500 votes.
The leader of the rating is Vladikavkaz, with 227,000 votes. Vladivostok, Nalchik, Penza, Krasnoyarsk, Chelyabinsk, Yaroslavl, Khanty-Mansiisk and Kostroma are in the top ten.
“City of Russia” is an online project that aims to determine the most attractive, recognizable and symbolic city, as well as attract attention to regional cultural and historic heritage.
