His first exhibition was arranged in 2012 in a series of Russian – Swiss cultural exchange program for 2012-2015 organized with the support of Pro Helvetia foundation. Alex Doll’s artworks were on display in Vologda in 2015 and 2016. In 2015 the exhibition was devoted to the 285th birthday anniversary of a great Russian general Alexander Suvorov.
In 2016 Doll’s exhibition in Vologda was organised by the Russian Academy of Arts, the National Museum of Liechtenstein, and "Peace and Harmony" Foundation within the program of events in honour of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and Switzerland.
An exhibition in July 2017 will be devoted to the landscapes and architecture of Liechtenstein. At present the exhibition is on display in Zerbst, Germany.
