The meeting of Ded Moroz, a legendary Father Christmas-type character and his Finnish counterpart Joulupukki was held at the checkpoint «Brusnichnoye» near Vyborg, Russia.
During a traditional meeting at the Russian-Finnish border meeting, New Year’s wizards from Russia and Finland - Ded Moroz and Joulupukki greeted each other, exchanged gifts and congratulated children on the upcoming New Year and Christmas
After the Brusnichnoye international checkpoint Ded Moroz headed for Narva (Estonia) to meet Estonia's Santa Claus – Jõuluvana.
