Delegations from the Vologda Oblast, the most famous and respectable Vologda's tour operators presented tourism opportunities of the Vologda Region and told the visitors of exhibitions and fairs about tourism opportunities of the Vologda Region, its itineraries, hotels and sanatoriums.
Vologda’s experts participated in travel and tourism exhibitions which were held in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Tver (Russia), Slovenia, the Netherlands, Belgium, Finland and Hungary.
These forums brought together hosted buyers and travel professionals from different Russian regions with Russian and international tourism key players.
Vologda’s experts took part in numerous meetings, business meetings and round tables devoted to development of domestic tourism in Russia.
During the first six months of the year the tourist flow to Vologda exceeded 412,000 people, that is almost 10% more than in the corresponding period of the previous year.
