A delegation from the Vologda Region led by Deputy Governor Oleg Vasiliev is taking part in the 5th International Cultural Forum in St. Petersburg, which is held on December 1st to December 3rd, 2016.
The 5th International Cultural St. Petersburg Forum is an international meeting of open dialogue and exchange of experience, in which experts in the fields of culture and cultural policy, government officials, politicians and businessmen from different countries discuss development trends in the global and Russian cultural life and seek potential partners and investors in the field of culture.
The business venue of the St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum this year gathered more than 700 foreign participants and speakers.
At the Forum the RF Ministry of Culture selected top 10 regions in the country, the Vologda Region among them, that are the best regions to organize the activities in the field of tourism.
The St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum is an annual large-scale project, which has become a unique platform for intercultural dialogue, aimed at the preservation and development of Russian culture, the strengthening of international cooperation and support of cultural initiatives.
