The main holiday season miracle-makers held a traditional meeting at the Russian-Finnish border to congratulate children on the coming New Year and Christmas. The Brusnichnoye international vehicle checkpoint hosted the “Christmas Without Borders” campaign.
The tradition dates back to 2002, when Vyborg held Days of the Veliky Ustyug municipal district. It was agreed to hold an annual meeting between Ded Moroz and Finnish Joulupukki at the Russian-Finnish border.
As usual, the main holiday season miracle-makers travel to different countries and cities, take part in various New Year events.
During the meeting, New Year’s wizards from Russia and Finland – Ded Moroz and Joulupukki greeted each other, exchanged gifts and congratulated children on the upcoming New Year and Christmas.
